PART 1: STRASBOURG

So when deciding where to go on holiday this year, me and my boyfriend decided to take an interailing trip around France. I've always wanted to do an adventurous trip like that and we both loved Paris when we visited so wanted to explore the other parts of France. It took a lot of planning and we followed a budget by getting the cheapest train tickets we could find and getting cheap hotels.

After it was all planned, we were on our way, we travelled down to London and from there to Paris and from there to Strasbourg..

Strasbourg is quite a large city but it's main attraction is the old town named La Petite France, it is a small part of Strasbourg and the most beautiful. All the buildings are really old and you feel like you are in a fairytale. It is surrounded by canals and is full of lovely little restaurants and cafes.

It is a lovely place to explore, relax and have a bite to eat and discover the historical buildings. The cathedral was amazing! They don't have many shops in this part of Strasbourg, mostly Pinocchio style toy shops and souvenir shops. If you go, definitely stop off at the Au Pont Saint-Martin restaurant, you can get a seat on the balcony and overlook the river while enjoying some amazing food!
